Work Hours: Monday - Friday Standard Working Hours 

Location: Remote 

As our Payroll Analyst, you will: 

  • Process wage and salary payments, audit time entries, and schedule garnishment payments for bi-weekly multi state payroll
  • Calculate and process special checks, file unemployment forms, and create summary reports for management
  • Ensure the proper administration of federal and state payroll tax regulations
  • Utilize automated time and attendance software and programs in day-to-day operations
  • Handle general inquiries regarding payroll and time/attendance
  • Offer suggestions, advice, and solutions regarding payroll processing procedures
  • Research and resolve escalated and/or complex payroll issues; ensure resolution is communicated to employees
  • Provide technical and consultative support to HR staff in addressing payroll policies and procedures
  • Audit benefit deductions, changes and compliance including 401k reporting and auditing, researching and responding to requests for information from benefits providers including short term disability and other leave-related forms and inquiries
  • Ensure accurate and timely year-end W2 processing
  • Assist with Ceridian Dayforce implementation
  • Maintain Dayforce data base of personnel information and accurate payroll records
  • Conduct regularly scheduled audits of payroll records to ensure continued accuracy

Qualifications: 

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years’ relevant payroll experience
  • Current Ceridian Dayforce experience is required
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Ability to develop practical solutions to simplify payroll processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
