POSITION SUMMARY

As a Market Manager for the Aerospace, Defense, and Space Propulsion areas of our business, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our product lines while maintaining our position as a market leader. This pivotal role combines strategic thinking, technical expertise, and effective leadership to develop and execute product strategies that address customer needs and align with company objectives.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
|
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics within the aerospace, defense, and space propulsion sectors.
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies that maximize growth opportunities, customer value, and profitability in alignment with company goals.
- Product Development: Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new products, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Pricing Authority: Set pricing strategies for products in these markets based on market analysis, cost structures, and competitive landscape to achieve optimal market positioning and financial results.
- Product Launch and Promotion: Plan and execute successful product launches, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement materials, and promotional activities.
- Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by delivering product training, creating sales tools, and participating in key customer interactions, helping to secure new business opportunities. - Product Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor product performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products adhere to relevant industry regulations and certifications, maintaining the company's commitment to quality and safety.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and operations, to achieve strategic goals and drive business growth.
- Subject Matter Expert: Become a subject matter expert in the aerospace, defense and space propulsion markets, as well as the materials and technologies used in these industries. Provide expert guidance to internal teams and external customers, answering technical queries and proposing tailored solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS and EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
|
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product or Marketing Manager in the aerospace, defense, or space propulsion industries, with a track record of successful product launches and revenue growth.
- Proven experience with pricing strategies, market analysis, and product lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with metals tubing and materials used in aerospace, defense, and space propulsion applications.
- Knowledge of aerospace, defense, or space industry regulations, certifications, and quality standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Occasional travel to customers, prospects, manufacturing facilities and industry events.
