The Wistar Institute is seeking outstanding candidates for a faculty position in the Wistar Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center. Areas of particularly high interest include a focus on antimicrobial resistance, emerging infectious disease pathogens, and immune approaches to chronic infectious disease. Candidates with a research focus using novel tools and approaches for target identification/validation, pathogenesis, approaches in novel animal models, in vivo screening systems, CRISPR-CAS/editing, single cell and immune profiling approaches are encouraged to apply.  

Applicants qualified for an Assistant or Associate Professor appointment who have established a strong publication track record and a trajectory toward independent research supported by extramural funding are of high priority.  The successful candidate will be expected to pursue an extramurally-funded competitive research program with a primary focus on basic and/or translational studies in the context of Vaccine and Immune therapy.
