Who we are looking for:

The Team Lead, IT Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the IT Operations team. This role provides strategic direction, guidance, and supervision to ensure the efficient and effective operation of ACV's IT infrastructure. The Team Lead, IT Operations is accountable for the IT Operations team through establishing and monitoring goals, objectives, and KPIs to ensure efficient operations and management of ACV's IT operations and infrastructure.

What you will do:

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of IT administrators, providing support and guidance to enhance their skills, performance, and professional growth.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages innovation, continuous learning, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of support methodologies, team processes and documentation in order to facilitate problem solving, focusing on customer service, ease of use, and comprehension.
  • Organize and conduct regular group and one-to-one meetings, addressing performance and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand IT requirements and priorities, and ensure the team's activities align with organizational goals.
  • Manage and prioritize projects, delegating tasks appropriately to team members, and tracking project progress to ensure successful completion.
  • Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of various IT systems, networks, and applications to ensure their stability, security, and performance.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for system administration, security, and data integrity.
  • Lead the team in responding to and resolving critical incidents and outages, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
  • Act as a liaison between IT administrators and upper management, providing regular updates on team activities, projects, and challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with broader company strategies.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training purposes.
  • Generate reports on team performance, project status, and system health to present to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive improvements and optimizations within the IT infrastructure.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • 5 years’ IT Admin, Operations, or related experience.
  • 2 years’ progressive supervisory/management experience
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Proven experience in IT administration, with a strong background in system administration, networking, and security.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, focusing on finding innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Proven communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in ITIL framework and project management methodologies is advantageous.

Compensation: $84,000.00 - $88,000.00  annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
