Role: Emergency Preparedness Coordinator & Inventory Specialist:  $26.99 - $29.19

This job has a high-focus on emergency preparedness within a public health context. The individual in this role would be responsible for developing and maintaining plans for various public health emergencies, establishing relationships with external agencies, evaluating plan effectiveness, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Organize and facilitate extensive training programs for both staff and external organizations.
  • Supervise the effective management of emergency supplies and inventory.
  • Engage actively in hands-on emergency response activities. 

 

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent practical experience); Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of emergency planning, response, and recovery principles.
  • Familiarity with applicable regulations, guidelines, and standards related to emergency preparedness.

 

Employment Details: 

  • Full-time: Non-Exempt position

  

Work Schedule: 

  • 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Mon-Fri, 37.5 hrs/week
  • schedule may vary, including on-call or emergency work outside regular hours
