Job Purpose

The Senior Director, Ultrasound Marketing which is responsible for the Ultrasound franchise is expected to be the “general manager” responsible for leadership and ensuring brand needs and objectives are met. Responsibilities include management of the development and execution of short and long-term marketing strategies and goals for Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound (“CEUS”) franchise product(s) including product life cycle management. This position will be responsible for overseeing and management of all aspects of specific product line(s), including planning, promotion, positioning, pricing strategies, forecasting, key opinion leader development, and sales support. Talent management of direct reports with specific responsibilities for brand management is required. Globally, this role represents Bracco Diagnostic Inc. (“BDI”) activities and business needs for product life cycle management (LCM) and global medical and regulatory activities.

 

Main Responsibilities, Activities, Duties and Tasks

 

  • Oversee, develop and execute marketing plans and strategies to maximize assigned franchise product line(s) and meet financial objectives assigned to direct reports for CEUS.

 

  • Talent management and development of direct reports to drive BDI business objectives and guiding principles and to ensure employee engagement.

 

  • Ensure and oversight of pricing strategies and guidelines to optimize profit and product mix to meet organizational objectives.

 

  • Ensure Bracco promotional campaigns and tactics to positively position the brand(s) and increase awareness and adoption of Bracco’s products and solutions.

 

  • Ensure development and implementation of effective product management and marketing programs linking clinical and economic expectations.

 

  • Ensure global and cross-functional collaboration in support of BDI business needs and objectives.

 

  • Collaborate with Global Medical and Regulatory Affairs to support/initiate market support studies and recommend regulatory activity to support (life cycle) management of the product(s).  

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for the hiring, training, onboarding, business performance and professional development of those who report to the position.  Reporting to this position are:

Education

  • BA/BS Degree in a relative field required, MBA preferred

 

 

Professional Experience, Knowledge & Technical Skills

  • Experience in Marketing, Product Management, Finance and ideally a background or experience in healthcare sales and marketing – Diagnostic imaging, Cardiac ultrasound, CEUS, or pharmaceutical experience.
  • Number of years of experience will determine level for this position which can range from Associate Director, Director, or Senior Director.
