Vista Defense Technologies is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst II to support Defense Health Information Technology Engineering project.

The successful candidate will serve as a Computer Systems Analyst III in support of the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Clinical Infrastructure Modernization (CIM) Integrated Product Team (IPT). The scope of work supports worldwide enterprise Health Information Technology engineering support in the areas of Information Technology (IT) service designs, system engineering, systems administration, enterprise network, infrastructure engineering, infrastructure modernization, IT systems, systems deployment and integration, as well as Information Assurance (IA) and system support services for the consolidation of Army Medical, Navy Medical, Air Force Medical, and TRICARE Management Activity IT infrastructures into a single shared services delivery model supporting all of the Department of Defense (DoD) healthcare. This includes all of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) current Datacenter to Desktop services, including the following: Network and Security Management Services (NSMS), Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Local Core Infrastructure (LCI), Compute and Storage Management Services (CSMS), Directory Services and Enterprise Management Services (DSEM), Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Medical Community of Interest (Med-COI), and Data Center Operations (DCOPS). 

Responsibilities
The Computer Systems Analyst III candidate will be part of a larger team providing support to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and shall provide functional and technical support of a wide range Military Health IT systems. The team shall provide engineering expertise to support the entire product life cycle from identification and quantification of system requirements, analysis of alternatives (AoAs), selection and implementation of the best design, verification that the design is properly built and integrated, and post-implementation assessment of how well the system meets the requirements. The contractor shall utilize a centralized, integrated ITSM solution for asset, change, incident, and configuration management.

Tasking for the Computer Systems Analyst III position may include: Technical requirement gathering and defining, and planning and executing Analysis of Alternatives, and technical architecture and service definition, eBOM development, and 
developing detailed technical implementation plans (CDRL A016), conducting independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), and provide administration, troubleshooting, development and support for the Asset Inventory Database, and support of the ITSM tool hardware and software required to maintain the asset inventory database. 

Requirements/Experience:  
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Five (5) years directly related experience with the maintenance or development of software programs/applications based in UNIX or C or other applicable computer languages. Computerized System experience, to include: Design, Development, Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and/or Windows based operating system
  • Certifications in any of the following a plus: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network, Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), etc.). 
  • Must comply with DoD 8570.01-M certification requirements for the position having achieved and maintained one of the follow certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP
  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal and organizational skills 
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills 
  • Must be a US citizen and hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance
