Operations - Delivery Driver 1

JOB SUMMARY

The delivery driver is responsible for moving batteries and other merchandise from one location to another.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Delivers products to customer locations in a timely manner

• Loads and unloads delivery vehicle

• Collects on unpaid orders and shipments

• Inspects and monitors delivery vehicle

• Maintains accurate inventory of packages and materials

• Rewraps old batteries and collects cores

• Performs other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• At least one (1) year of experience as a delivery driver in a commercial vehicle

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a commercial driver’s license

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company products/codes and terminology

• Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgment relative to inventory

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds

PREFERENCES:

• Basic computer experience
