OPEN SPACE OPS TECHNICIAN I


The Open Space Operations Technician l is a full-time (40 hours a week), year-round position that assists with maintenance of open space areas throughout Columbia. The position involves outdoor manual labor, including lifting, bending, walking, trash removal, and operation of small power and hand equipment. Prior verifiable landscaping and/or ground maintenance experience is required. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must be able to obtain a Department Of Transportation Physical Fitness Certification. Must be able to communicate effectively, work overtime on evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
