BASIC PURPOSE 

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program Manager will offer CCH complete IT program management support for the Oracle ERP solution. Program Manager will direct the formulation and implementation of important initiatives and upgrades to the ERP system. It will be the Program Manager's responsibility to oversee and direct some of the program's projects in this hands-on, practical program management position. Additional duties include reporting on progress, documenting and assessing business cases for viability, and communicating and scheduling program and project deadlines. 

On behalf of the executive business sponsor and project champion, the program manager will adhere to the proper governance procedures for the program in accordance with IT and PMO policies and practices. 

They will have excellent leadership qualities and will have experience leading people from diverse backgrounds to deliver results on time. They will be able to develop effective strategies and tactics

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Offer comprehensive program management planning that includes project planning, time frames, milestones and deliverables aligned with business objectives and align with the CCH Project Management Organization (PMO) governance model and CCH Project Delivery Lifecycle methodology. 

  • Review and secure approval for technical and functional documents and artifacts as deemed required for PMO Governance and IT SDLC of the project. 

  • Collect stakeholder requirements, analyze, define, validate, and confirm ERP needs with business stakeholders, and build a business case for assigned projects with a return on investment (ROI) aligned with company objectives and goals. 

  • Create budget proposals for ERP programs and projects, submit them, and suggest upcoming budget adjustments. 

  • Manage and maintain ERP program and project status reports for PMO meetings and executive management. 

  • From the beginning to the end of the project, track and manage the backlog of requirements for ERP projects and enhancements.   

  • Produce and manage MDM project schedules, sprint cycle plans, and deliver them along with financials in the WBS (compare current situation vs. baseline; project labor resources and comprehend the actual vs. planned spending vs. the labor costs that were budgeted).   

  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve program goals by working closely with development leads. 

  • Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders to inform, warn, identify, and mitigate risks as well as negotiating with them and try to keep a positive working relationship and a shared vision for the program's outcome. 

  • Provide and assist with organizational change management (OCM), including ERP documentation and training, formulation of training/implementation plans, deployment within the business, and handoff to support services. 

  • Produce written documents (like project charters or status reports) and present them to a variety of audiences, from project teams to stakeholders to executive leadership to demonstrate your written and oral communication abilities. 

  • Oversee and assist overall quality assurance for ERP program system integrations and user acceptance testing. 

  • Oversee and assist overall with post implementation support of newly rolled ERP Platform and work with teams to track, troubleshoot and resolve problems. 

  • Track ERP program / project deliverables using appropriate PPM tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, etc. 

  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.  

  • Must be a motivated self-starter who maintains a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor. 

  • Contributes to improving PMO processes, templates, and overall maturity of organization. 

  • Become a subject matter expert on data, system, processes, and business methodologies.  

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation. 

  • Problem Solving that can Identify and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situation. 

  • All other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Computer Information Systems required; Master’s Degree preferred 

  • Preferred: PMP certification and formal training in negotiation/facilitation skills 

  • Preferred: Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) certifications is a plus 

  • Preferred: Agile/Scrum master certification or understanding 

  • 10+ years of information systems experience 

  • 8+ years’ experience of program management experience 

  • 6+ years as domain lead in Oracle EBS/Cloud ERP systems 

  • Experience working with Middle office and Master Data Management  

  • Experience collaborating with product teams and product owners 

  • Exposure to vendor relationship management 

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and reasoning ability 

  • Experience in planning, understanding contemporary and emerging technologies and demonstrated success in implementing large-scale projects involving a variety of technologies to improve process and achieve long term goals and objectives
