Director, Asset Manager, Commercial Property Portfolio

A. Duda & Sons, Inc. located in Oviedo, Florida (East Orlando) has an opening for a full time salaried Director, Asset Manager, Commercial Property Portfolio (CPP). The objective of this position is to provide resources and expertise to support the acquisition, in-service support and disposal of the facilities and properties acquired by DUDA and leased to third parties within the commercial property portfolio.  This role will provide support with respect to DUDA’s interest in its commercial portfolio and projects under development working toward maximizing revenue, profit, and  returns, consistent with the investment criteria and strategy specified by the Risk and Investment Committee,  through knowledge of credit and finance, contracts/leases, operations, marketing (market conditions and trends for diverse asset classes), revenue management, insurance, taxation and accounting.  The Director, Asset Manager, CPP will evaluate potential acquisitions and development opportunities and will acquire in-depth knowledge of properties and markets in order to assess risk and enhance financial returns.

Requirements:

A Masters degree is preferred; Bachelor’s degree is required in business, accounting, finance engineering or relevant science.  CCIM is preferred.  Must have high degree of organizational and interpersonal competencies in order to clearly and concisely communicate with internal and external audiences.  Must be able to demonstrate a proven ability to develop effective working relationships and a working knowledge of contract terms and conditions and the ability to administer complex contracts.  Fiver or more years of experience in asset management, operations, or project development.
