$52.71 - $78.37 hourly Depending on Qualifications

The Regional Health Center Director under the guidance of the mission, vision, cultural beliefs of El Rio, plans, evaluates and manages the administrative clinical, behavioral health and dental operational activities of Health Centers within the assigned region. In collaboration with administration, The Regional Health Center Director is responsible for the strategic planning process and to direct and monitor assigned staff and projects in order to accomplish clinical, behavioral health and dental operational goals that meet Health Center demands and patient/community needs.  


The incumbent in this position works with general direction and review, and has discretion and independent judgment authority with respect to matters of significance for the assigned department and its operations in respect to the resolution of problems involving departures from standard policies, interpretations, or procedures within the functions and processes for which they are accountable and responsible within the scope of authority and responsibility for a Regional Health Center Director.

 

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. 
  • Ten (10) years’ progressive experience in a nursing role, with at least five (5) of those years as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare environment. 
  • A minimum seven (7) years’ supervisory or management experience in a clinical or healthcare environment

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

  • Current Registered Nurse license in good standing from Arizona State Board of Nursing.
  • Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for Healthcare Providers (CPR) certification from an approved and accredited program.
  • Employees in this position are required to have reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the organization during the workday.  If an employee is driving during work hours, the employee is required to possess a valid driver’s license and must be in compliance with Arizona vehicle insurance requirements.

Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities:

  • Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Ten (10) years’ supervisory or management experience in a clinical or healthcare environment.
  • Experience in an integrative health care system (clinical, behavioral health, dental).
