Director of Human Resources

- Strategic HR Leadership: Lead by example in aligning HR strategies with our business objectives. Collaborate with senior management to provide guidance and insights on talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning.
This role will report to our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and be part of a dynamic team. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Design programming that build SunStream’s culture in alignment with company objectives.
- Design and implement a growth-focused performance management system that derives team/individual goals and bonus objectives from corporate goals.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management and development, employee engagement, legal compliance and record keeping, employee relations, total rewards (compensation and benefits), and payroll.
- Work in cooperation with Communications to ensure all policies and procedures are current, and effectively communicated to employees and contractors.
- Oversee company branding and marketing with a third-party provider; working to incorporate procedures into daily practice, and into SunStream hiring processes.
- Lead and facilitate the recruitment and staffing processes in accordance with organizational guidelines, best practices, and budgetary guidelines.
- Ensure the continuous enhancement of HR procedures and policies.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding/offboarding system.
- Provide strategic focus in the creation of training and staff development initiatives.
- Support HR and strategic initiatives by guiding managers in line with company goals.
- Provide executive-level coaching/advising on HR issues.
- As needed provide Board-level strategy support.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience (8+ years) in Human Resources leadership roles, including HR strategy development and implementation.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to drive change, foster innovation, and challenge conventional thinking.
- Track record of building and maintaining a culture of trust and excellence.
