Valet Parking Attendant

Job Summary: As a Hotel Valet, your role is to provide top-notch valet parking and guest services to hotel patrons. You'll warmly greet guests, help with luggage, park and retrieve vehicles carefully, and ensure smooth traffic flow in the hotel driveway. Additionally, you'll offer excellent customer service by answering guest inquiries, giving directions, and providing assistance as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• • Assist guests upon arrival, helping with luggage and offering assistance.
  • Safely park and retrieve guests' vehicles, following safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized valet parking area.
  • Quickly respond to guest requests for vehicle retrieval.
  • Provide accurate information and assistance to guests.
  • Handle luggage with care.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Seek feedback from guests and address concerns promptly.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with the valet team.
  • Assists and work with other departments where and when needed.
  • Upsell hotel amenities and stay informed about local attractions.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

• • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training preferred.
  • Previous valet parking or guest service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clear record required.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, pull, push, carry items or perform other tasks for extended periods.
  • Flexibility in schedule to work weeknights, weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of local attractions preferred.
