SET UP CARPENTER
Job Title: Setup Crew
Reports to: Setup Supervisor
Department: Setup Carpenter/Hardware
Schedule: Monday-Friday(Flexibility is required)
Job Summary:
Assemble wooden molds for concrete panels per blueprints. Repair molds as needed for maximum quality results in finished product
Duties/Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret blue prints for assembly of wooden molds.
-Lay out materials for proper positioning and location on table/deck.
-Maintain and repair decks as required to appropriate deck
-Organize and complete assigned task alone or with a team member
-Sanding table tops with a floor sander
-Resolve promptly, through management and quality control, any problems and conflicts with prints as they occur.
Education and Experience/Skill Qualifications
-High School education preferred but not required.
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) Recommended.
-Experience working with concrete
-Good Communication Skills (both written and oral)
-Ability to work with minimal instruction
-Good planning and organizational skills required
Physical Requirements:
-While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, twist, and walk.
-Must be able to use various hand tools or control; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance on elevated surfaces; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch and crawl. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Constant and continual medium to heavy manual, physical labor is required for this position.
-Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as work boots, hard hats, work gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection. This is an indoor/Outdoor work environment: Exposure to sun, heat, humidity, cold, wind, light rain, sand and dust.
