Primary Purpose of  the Role

This position is responsible for prioritizing and calling on foodservice end user user customers (including restaurants, caterers, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, colleges and universities) to develop new business selling tabletop disposables and packaging products through broadline foodservice and paper distributors. The position is also responsible for calling on key contacts at broadline and foodservice paper distributors, conduct business reviews, hold sales meetings, and work with key contacts at distribution to secure and grow business. 

Essential Job Duties
  • Identify market potential by qualifying accounts.
  • Understands the organization, policy, practices and working knowledge of the product line.
  • Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements.
  • Close sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining products features and benefits, overcoming objections; preparing price quotes.
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products to end user and distributors,and develops relationship with the distributor sales reps and end user contacts.
  • Provide information and develop market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts as to what their needs are.
  • Prepare and lead sales meetings and presentations for distributors.
  • Set up and attend trade shows when necessary.
  • Recommend products by effectively evaluating customer needs.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and training.
  • Accomplish marketing and organization mission by completing related results.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Active problem solver.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute to meet company objectives.

Required Skills/Abilites

  • Proficient user in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory. Minimal overnight travel required.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales prefedder in the foodservice industry


Compensation Package
$70,000 - $90,000 Annual Base Salary based on experience, 25% Annual Bonus opportunity, $100 monthly phone allowance, expense and mileage reimbursement, $100 monthly student loan assistance, full benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, 401K with match, Disability and more!
