Monday, April 22, 2024

The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) is the nation’s voice for community banks with its mission to create and promote an environment where community banks flourish.  We are dedicated exclusively to representing the interests of the community banking industry and its membership through effective advocacy, best-in-class education, and innovative products and services. ICBA engages with members to address challenges faced by community banks of all sizes and charter types. We offer members: national representation, professional development, innovative products and services, and exclusive tools and information.

What Is a Community Bank? A community bank is a depository or lending institution that primarily serves businesses and individuals in a small geographic area. Community banks tend to emphasize personal relationships with their customers.

The 2024 ICBA Summer Intern program will be from June 3rd to August 2nd. The program will be a learning experience and help you gain valuable job experience and develop essential skills.  Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership, work on meaningful projects, participate in learning and development opportunities and join in networking and social events with other Team Members and fellow interns and participate in a final presentation the final week of the summer internship.  Our goal is to have a hybrid program that will be both virtual and in-person.  Final determination on the hybrid schedule will be made closer to the program start date.
