General Summary:  The Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that align with the organizational goals and individual development needs. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitates training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels.
  • Assists in the design and development of comprehensive training programs, materials, and resources in connection with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Ensures the effective transfer of knowledge and skills through various training methods.
  • Manages and updates the Learning Management System, tracks and reports on training participation, completion, and effectiveness.
  • Gathers feedback on and supports the evaluation training programs.
  • Modifies and enhances training materials based on feedback and changing needs.
  • Collaborates closely with departments and facilities to identify needs and tailor program accordingly.
  • Coordinates the scheduling of trainings to ensure organizational training standards are met.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Supports the maintenance of the master training calendar for the organization.
  • Works with all departments and programs in gathering and analyzing data/feedback related to the satisfaction, relevance, and compliance to standards and identification of training needs.
  • Ensures all training documentation is completed and submitted within prescribed deadlines.
  • Maintains and provides the Training Accreditation Checklist on staff that outlines requirements unique to role, site, and program.
  • During clinical training sessions serves as the liaison between the company and staff, ensuring professional and positive relationships are maintained and adherence to agency mission statement and guiding principles is modeled.
  • Participates in team/department/program meetings as necessary.
  • Travels to sites to conduct clinical trainings as needed (some travel is required for this position).
  • Uses technology including telehealth systems to deliver clinical training content to remote locations.
  • May perform other duties as related to the general nature of the position.
  • Act as advisor/peer mentor to staff at the site level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Experience – Three (3) years’ experience facilitating training groups and Three (3) years providing direct care services to at risk populations or supervising staff.
  • Licensure- NA
  • Certification- NA

REGULATORY:

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Arizona Driver’s License, 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance that meets insurance requirements.
  • Must possess Level 1 fingerprint clearance card.
  • Initial current negative TB test result (Employer provides).
