Iteris is looking for a Data Product Manager who wants to make transportation safer, greener, and more efficient. You will be responsible for discovering and delivering Data as a Service offerings that solve customer problems in the public and commercial sectors. You will also work closely with product managers of Iteris SaaS offerings on combined offerings that help agencies, companies, and travelers make smart data-driven decisions. This is a hybrid position which requires being in our Madison office 2 to 3 days per week.

What you will be doing:


  • Become an expert on our customers and their needs
  • Collaborate with leadership on the data services vision and strategy
  • Translate strategy into a compelling data roadmap that you will own, update, and communicate to stakeholders and customers
  • Create and present compelling business cases for new products and product enhancements that deliver on your vision
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
  • Define requirements and work with data science and software development teams to execute initiatives from ideation to launch
  • Work with sales, marketing, and leadership on go-to-market strategy and successful execution
  • Define product OKRs and track, report, and make decisions from product performance metrics
  • Work closely with sales and product support teams to provide technical product expertise, address customer inquiries, and collect customer feedback


What you need to be successful in this role:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Information Systems or related field; MBA/relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Over one (1) year of experience as a Product Manager, experience with data/analytics products strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IoT technologies, including sensors, connectivity, cloud platforms, and data analytics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and be customer-facing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Preferred experience with: AI/ML, transportation data and/or technology, experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Aha as well as AWS Cloud and APIs/microservices


Iteris anticipates paying between $113,000 and $126,000 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
