Iteris is seeking an Incident Management Operations (IMO) Operator to support our 24-hour Traffic Operations Center. Using cutting-edge technology, the ideal candidate will be monitoring traffic incidents across North America. We are currently hiring for evening shifts from 1:30pm - 9:30pm EST.


What you will be doing:


  • Proactively enter, edit, and monitor traffic incident information derived from Iteris data feeds, live traffic probes, review of cameras, online traffic reports, social and commercial media, police/fire scanners, and other sources
  • Communicate with local agencies regarding traffic incident information
  • Report Iteris system performance and feed reliability issues
  • Document and maintain traffic incident records as required
  • Other tasks as may emerge from time to time


What you need to be successful in this role:


  • High School Diploma/Equivalent required
  • Experience using Windows, MS Office, and popular mapping applications/services a plus
  • Some experience [about 1 year] relating to position [i.e. operations center, IT/Helpdesk, or quality assurance roles] a plus


Iteris anticipates paying between $18.00 and $21.00 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
