Sanitation Technician

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 an hour.  Shift: full-time.

The Sanitation Operator maintains a high level of Food Safety and product quality by cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment, utensils, and facility.

Some of what you'll do as a Sanitation Technician:

• Maintain cleaning and sanitation following the company Master Sanitation Program.
• Utilize chemicals and cleaning agents to clean and sanitize processing area walls, floors, and equipment.
• Utilize refuse and sanitation tools properly and safely.
• Removal of debris from the processing area.
• Communicate chemicals supply levels to management.
• Maintain plant safety.
• Clean and maintain sanitation equipment.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Provide backup support for other duties as needed.
• Become certified as an electric pallet jack operator.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

• Sanitation experience in warehouse, kitchen, or plant a plus.
• An ability to use industrial-strength chemicals.
• The ability to understand and demonstrate safety procedures.
• The ability to push or pull heavy equipment.
• Excellent work habits in line with good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.
• An ability to communicate effectively.
