Pallas Textiles is searching for a Sales Representative to cover the greater New York market. The ideal individual will have an appreciation for thoughtful high-level design and genuinely enjoy connecting with people.
Pallas Textiles, a division of KI, offers a portfolio of finely crafted upholstery, panel and privacy curtain applications with a sophisticated sense of style, timelessness and substance. As an ambassador for the brand, you will connect with interior designers and end users presenting textiles that are purposeful and meaningful. This allows them to develop spaces which are on trend in terms of color, pattern and texture, and provide expert advice on the value that our textiles bring. Pallas Textiles provides a platform for designers to develop spaces which are sensory rich, an environment in which their customers emotionally connect with and thrive.
Although this is a home office position, you will have access to the KI showroom in New York which includes a beautifully designed textiles space as well as support from the KI team with whom you will work closely to address customers' textile needs. While Pallas does provide training on its brand, product portfolio and systems, it is expected that you:
- Maintain an existing customer base
- Establish new accounts
- Build market share
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Maintain superb organizational and time management skills
- Approach each day with a positive outlook
- Are self-motivated and driven to succeed
- Have previous sales experience or experience working within the architecture and design community
A degree in textiles, design or similar field is preferred. Sales experience is also preferred but not required. Knowledge of salesforce.com and social media is helpful.
Your achievements will be recognized and rewarded with a generous compensation plan with base salary between $95 and $105k, plus commission of approximately $30-$40k/year based on current sales volume.
