The Quad-City Times is seeking applicants for a full-time 10-week news internship over the summer. The start date is flexible, and this position pays $15 per hour. 

The successful candidate will get hands-on reporting experience covering a variety of beats for the award-winning Quad-City Times and Dispatch-Argus.

Qualified candidates should be inquisitive self-starters who are capable of producing compelling content for our digital and print platforms. Interns should feel empowered to find and pitch stories about our communities.

Applicants who are enrolled in a bachelor’s program in journalism or a recent graduate of a program will be preferred. A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, reliable transportation and the flexibility to work some night and weekends are required.

The Quad-Cities is a cluster of cities on the banks of the Mississippi River that offer an affordable lifestyle with bigger-city amenities. The intern will work out of the combined newsroom in Davenport, Iowa.
