Summary
The Director is responsible for the overall compliance and operation of Plan Be Hospice. This induvial will lead, motivate and take on strategic planning responsibilities for a high-quality program and ensure Federal and State regulations are met.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the development, oversight, and growth of Plan Be Hospice
  • Develop, monitor and supervise agency’s quality and performance improvement; ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Set annual goals to grow the Hospice Program, which also meet the organization’s strategic initiatives.
  • Works to ensure cost efficient, high quality programs that meet residents’ needs, as well as the needs of community members
  • Responsible for supervision, evaluation, and resource management of staff directly to provide superior hospice care.
  • Maintain necessary standards for licensure and certification
  • Participate in strategic planning with Corporate Executive team.
 
Education/Experience
  • Three years of management experience in healthcare administration (Hospice preferred, Home Care, Long Term Care, Hospital) required.
  •  Vast knowledge of state and federal regulations and accreditation standards required.
  • Ability to develop and closely monitor budgets/marketing plan/strategic planning/community relations.
