Parkside Villa, a 178 bed skilled nursing facility with a 22 suite assisted living in Middleburg Heights offers a warm and comfortable environment with staff committed to treating everyone like family- with compassion, respect and kindness. The facility was awarded Best Nursing Home for Short-Term Rehabilitation for 2019-20 and 2020-21 by U.S. News and World Report, and Best Nursing Home for 2020 and 2021 by Newsweek, along with the Bronze National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association in 2020. The facility offers multiple specialty programs including orthopedics, infectious disease, pulmonology, cardiology, and IV therapy, and a ventilator management program featuring a rounding pulmonologist and respiratory therapists.

Part Time Position 8:30am-5pm possible 11am-8pm shift. Everyother weekend and holiday rotation. 

 

The primary purpose of the Activities Assistant position is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by the Activities Director.

 

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.

MEPAP certification & STNA experience preferred

Previous experience preferred in long term care or assisted living with skills that include:  daily documentation, care planning, using Point Click Care, completing PELI's & writing in Activities Newsletters
