Postdoctoral Fellow (Lindestam Arlehamn Lab)
A Postdoctoral Fellowship position is available immediately at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology in the lab of Dr. Cecilia Lindestam Arlehamn, in close collaboration with Dr. Alessandro Sette, who is interested in understanding human T cell reactivity in neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and ALS.
Successful candidates will join an interdisciplinary group of researchers with a strong sense of collaboration dedicated to identifying and characterizing T cell responses against various complex antigens. They will build upon previous discoveries implicating a role for T cells in neurodegenerative diseases (PMIDs: 28636593, 31085590, 36495691, 35314697, 35754290, 31430650, and 32313102).
Requirements
Ideal postdoctoral candidates should have a strong background in either basic immunology, T cell immunity, or neurodegenerative disease, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
