Lynden Incorporated is seeking a Marketing Intern to work as part of our SeaTac based team.  You will work with the team on a variety of marketing, communications, and customer experience projects. This is a paid internship; you will generally work 40 hours per week for a period of 10-12 weeks during the summer. This position is non safety sensitive. Our internship program offers you opportunities to network and learn through:

  • Participating in tours at the different Lynden Operating Companies.
  • Informational lunches with Lynden executives including Operations, Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance and Company Presidents.
  • Assisting with organizing the Lynden summer barbeque and other employee events.
  • Intern team building activities.
  • Group and team-related projects include presenting to our group of executives.

Our Team

The team leads Lynden’s corporate marketing initiatives and supports the marketing and communication needs for the various companies within our Lynden family of companies. Marketing works closely with sales, customer service, and IT to ensure a positive experience for our customers. We are in a unique position to learn about a wide variety of industries and geographies served by the Lynden family of companies.

  • Assist with marketing tasks including social media, online marketing, and website updates.
  • Collaborate on advertising, video, and collateral development.
  • Participate in customer research, and project support.

What we need from you:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program and have at least 2 years completed.
  • Academic focus on marketing, sales, web design or related fields, are preferred.
  • Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. 
  • Tableau, Hubspot, MailChimp, Qualtrics, WordPress, SharePoint, or HTML/CSS experience is appreciated.
