Summary: Kodi Collective Marketing Execution Services is looking for a Press Operator 3. This role sits Pontiac IL.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain a multi-color offset press to print single-color, two-color, and/or multi-color work.  
• Review job specifications to determine the press setup. 
• Perform all make-ready tasks associated with the type of press operated such as hanging plates or installing cylinders, prepping blankets, adjusting tension and register etc. May examine plates/cylinders for imperfections and check for correct positioning of images.  
• Makes necessary color corrections and/or press adjustments prior to and during production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the work. 
• Performs periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturer.  
• Maintain accurate records, coordinate with supervisors regarding production issues and provide leadership to press team. 

Qualifications:

• Preferred knowledge of printing procedures, computer software, materials, equipment, safety requirements, and skills to perform assignments. 
• Mechanical knowledge & manufacturing experience required. 
• Skill to read and understand job specifications to determine press set-up materials needed to run the job successfully. 
• Must have sufficient knowledge of printer capabilities to determine the most appropriate use of the printer and corrective adjustments required to run efficiently. 

• Must have the ability to work at a high level, fast-paced environment while maintaining focus, attention to detail, and quick decision making. 
• Maintenance as needed daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. 
• Ability to work solely as well as in a team setting. 
• Job requires ability to exert 50 to 70 pounds of force frequently. 
• Due to the nature of this position, a flexible schedule is required.
