Shop Mechanic Supervisor

The Vehicle Shop Supervisor provides leadership to the department team members while assisting with the daily operations of the Vehicle Shop with a primary focus on Snow Removal operations during the winter season. This position plays a critical role in providing assistance and support to the Vehicle Shop Manager in personnel, shop, and snow removal functions of the department. We work in a state-of-the-art vehicle shop right on Mt. Hood.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles
• 2 years of experience in leadership or supervisory role
• Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system
• Ability to perform work in a variety of conditions and climates including severe winter weather conditions
• Basic welding skills 
• Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer operation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Snow cat operation and repair experience a plus
• Previous experience with heavy trucks/buses utilizing air brakes 
• Current Class B CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain a CDL.
