Join our fun and dynamic team amidst the beauty of Mt. Hood! Currently, we're seeking a proactive Sales Manager who will play a hands-on role in leading our sales team. This individual will be actively engaged in every aspect of the process, from dynamic client prospecting to maintaining existing relationships and ensuring exceptional guest services at Mt. Hood Meadows and Cooper Spur Mountain Resort. Collaboration with internal event teams and external vendors will be a key part of this role to ensure memorable guest experiences. Additionally, the Sales Manager will oversee recruitment, training, and goal alignment for their team, personally guiding them through the entire sales cycle to deliver seamless client interactions.

Additional duties include

  • Actively takes initiative attending shows and meetings relevant to business development
  • Working closely with the marketing team to develop sales strategies
  • Serve on pricing committee
  • Develop sales training and documentation. (lead development, cold calling, presentations.)
  • Tracking commissions of qualified sales
  • Meet and exceed budget expectations

  • 19 years of age minimum for company driving insurance purposes
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in leisure, hospitality, or recreation industry
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales leadership role or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Record of successful financial performance
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to commit to working weekends and holidays
  • Experience working with several departments, focusing on guest service & hospitality
  • Must have reliable transportation for winter road conditions
  • This position is subject to a background and driving record screening

 

Preferred Experience

 

  • Knowledge of MHM ski area operations, services, terrain, and facilities
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish
  • Experience with CRM & POS Software, specifically NetSuite and RTP
