Cashier - Kendall Hospital (Part Time)

Location: Kendall Hospital
Pay: $13 an hour
Type: AM Shift  - Part Time Part time 20 to 25 hrs per week 

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register or other point-of-sale system. Duties include balancing the cash register, making change, recording purchases, processing returns and scanning items for sale.

What you can expect in a typical day:

Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
Responding and resolving customer’s requests and concerns
Maintain cash control over register drawer and verify amounts are correct
Provide accurate information of billing
Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
Collect payments whether in cash, credit or debit
Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
Redeem voucher and coupons (if any)
Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies

Incumbent must be able to
Stand for up to six (6) consecutive hours
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Move quickly and carefully throughout the parking area
Communicate effectively in spoken English with team members and customers

Strong interpersonal skills; frequently communicate with team members and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information.
Ability to drive vehicles of all makes, models, and sizes
Reliability and responsibility

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Prior valet parking attendant experience preferred

Other Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
Expected to constantly work in all outdoor weather conditions
Required to wear a uniform and follow appropriate grooming standards
