Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans (MPI) has a current opening for an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Business Administrator who will be instrumental in maintaining, updating and configuring our ECM system. The ECM Business Administrator will provide MPI-centric business knowledge, support and the scheduling of appropriate resources to perform critical updates and enhancements to the ECM Application.

Position Overview:

The ECM Administrator is responsible for the overall administration and support for the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system. The successful candidate is a person:

  • with a good understanding how an ECM should and can be utilized across the organization.
  • who has skills using online technology and has the curiosity and expertise to learn an ECM and participate in the ECM community.
  • who is someone who wants to be a go-to person for the users. The candidate should be an advocate for the ECM within the organization and help to appropriately expand its use.

who takes data quality seriously and works to maintain a clean and unfettered database.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Understanding of MPI business processes and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Demonstrated autonomy and initiative
  • Strong Organization and Time Management skills
  • Proven customer service orientation combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.
  • Ability to work with people of varying technical skills.
  • Ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Creativity, initiative, excitement about the possibilities of the ECM
  • Excellent attendance and reliability, with the ability to work overtime/extended hours as required
  • Ability to accept direction and development guidance from supervisor
  • Experience working with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Systems
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and Office suite
  • Experience with project applications such as Azure Dev Ops preferred
  • Familiarity with User Stories, Development cycles, User Acceptance Testing and other project methodologies preferred

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define, plan and deliver ECM strategies across the organization
  • Define and assume responsibility of application updates, optimization and customization in order evolve the features of the tool
  • Continually analyze and evaluate application updates, upgrades and new features to determine viability and compatibility in the environment
  • Play an advisory role with internal stakeholders on the use and interpretation of integrated data and functional capabilities
  • Partner with all departments to ensure the ECM works effectively for all aspects of the organization.
  • Coordinate with the Information Technology Department to:
    • Develop, implement and execute a release/update cycle(s)
    • Develop, implement and execute comprehensive testing and remediation strategies for releases and updates
    • Develop an emergency release/update plan
  • Perform minor updates to data and/or configuration as well as business-owned processes
  • Provide consulting on training in the use of ECM
  • Coordinate regular meetings with support staff and various team members to review upcoming issues, items, and training.
  • Provide technical support, assistance and other duties for Records Management staff as needed.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

 

The anticipated base salary for this position is $28-32 per hour. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.

 

Please note, this is an onsite position at our offices in Studio City, CA. MPI requires employees to be vaccinated against Covid-19 with exceptions as required by law.
