NJNG, a subsidiary of NJR is seeking an Energy Efficiency Customer Relations Intern to serve as primary contact with customers and contractors for the SAVEGREEN Rebate Program.

What you will do:
Bring your enthusiasm and drive and you’ll learn from some of the top talent in the energy industry. You’ll have hands-on experience with your team and the support of our human resources team through this 10-week program. Growing both professionally and personally throughout the program could lead to future post-grad opportunities.
•    Retrieve new applications from DocuSign and emails to enter into the Nexant database  
•    Call customers and contractors to obtain missing information on applications 
•    Obtain customer back up data to process applications, ie: copy of driver’s license, deed, surrogates paperwork
•    Assist SAVEGREEN in managing customer rebate files to meet revenue goals and energy saving targets and ensure projects are completed 
•    Ensure that all data in the Program Management Software System (PMSS) program is accurate to minimize delays.

•    Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Marketing or related major
•    Experience with computer systems including knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook
•    Ability to work independently to deliver sound decisions and solutions to customer and contractors, while working in a fast-paced environment
•    Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
•    Available to work full time (40 hours per week) during defined intern program dates (June-August)
•    Ability to work hybrid/onsite in the corporate office in Wall, NJ
•    Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
