TITLE: Social/Digital Media Associate (Seasonal)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Day-to-day management of social media channels focused primarily on Orlando City B and Orlando City Academy.

Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategy for Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride in collaboration with the Sr. Social Media Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator and Director of Digital Content.

Plan and execute a social media calendar to ensure consistent, compelling messaging and programming.

Managing backend content delivery for Orlando City B and Orlando City Academy website.

Drive traffic to Orlando City B website and digital channels through effective and engaging use of content

Guide the Club toward the most effective approaches and content per platform in order to maximize results.

Show the Club's personality and voice through daily engagement with fans across all platforms.

Follow brand guidelines to ensure consistency throughout club channels

Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Available to commit to the entirety of the MLS, NWSL and MLS NEXT Pro seasons (Approx. Feb.-Nov.)

Must work most/all Orlando City B matches, which include some nights and weekends

Fluency in Spanish a plus

Prior internship/professional experience in social media, sports marketing, communications or related field

Knowledge of soccer (including MLS and NWSL) is critical
-
Self-starter willing to own responsibilities and uphold a standard of excellence

Ability to actively and efficiently work in a team

Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal abilities
-
Passion and ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism, while representing the Orlando City and Orlando Pride brands

Experience in juggling a number of work-intensive projects simultaneously, ability to meet and perform under tight deadlines and to think clearly under pressure

Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere

Must be able to produce quality photos and videos with a mobile device.

Graphic design and/or video editing (Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro) experience is a plus.

HTML and CSS experience is a plus.

MLS Next Pro (Orlando City B) play their home matches at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Fla. OCB continues the Club’s rich history in the rapidly growing league. Orlando City B play approximately 12 home games a year and for the first time will be broadcast on national television further elevating the profile of the league. Also located at OHP is Orlando City’s Academy which compete across youth age groups with where they study and hone their skills to one day join OCB and the First team.
OCSC also has a youth club, Orlando City Youth Soccer (OCYS) and a U-23 team that participates in the PDL. Lastly, the Orlando City Foundation is active in the community year round, promoting health and wellness in children throughout the region, and raising funds for and volunteering time for various local organizations.
