Job Summary:
Responsible for providing troubleshooting assistance and resolutions related to computer hardware and software, telephone hardware and software, mobile devices, and other technical tools and products when required.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Providing technical assistance for questions and problems
- Resolving problems with networks and other computer systems
- Diagnosing system errors and other issues
- Following up with employees to ensure full resolution of issues
- Installing or changing software to fix issues
- Remotely accessing hardware or software for clients to make changes and fix problems
- Managing company cell phones for employees as direct contact
- Remote setup and troubleshooting of printers
- Maintain user PCs, including upgrades and configuration as needed
- Assist with onboarding of new users
Positional Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with IT Support
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to help customers fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experience
- Writing and editing skills to aid in writing and updating manuals
- General awareness of computer systems, PC repair, and network management
- Comptia or MCP certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Associate's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience in addition to the above requirement
Essential Physical Functions:
- Travel: less than 5%
- Lifting up to 20 pounds
- Bending, stooping, walking
