River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups. 

River Edge is actively seeking a Full-time Clerk for the Judiciary In-reach Program. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Clerk will play a key role in providing technical and administrative support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, processing and maintaining accurate records, as well as receiving, verifying, entering, maintaining, and correcting data as necessary. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serves as the front desk reception, greeting visitors and clients with excellent customer service.
  • Checking in clients to see providers or assisting new clients in enrolling in services in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Provides general clerical support to office and direct support staff, to include tasks such as data entry/maintenance, copying/distributing documents, and materials, maintaining record-keeping and filing systems, etc.
  • Provides clerical support within assigned functional area (i.e., scheduling facilities maintenance, ordering supplies, alerting security as needed, etc.).

Qualifications.

  • At least 1 year of clerical experience
  • High School Diploma/ GED equivalent
  • All applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.
  • Provide 2 Professional references (Former employers only, no family members)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Exemplify excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have ability to multi-task and remain organized.
  • Must be customer service driven.
  • Ability to maintain good customer relations.

Phone Etiquette: Having good phone etiquette, including clear communication, active listening, and professional demeanor when answering calls or making outbound calls.

Basic Office Equipment Operation: Ability to operate basic office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners for tasks like document copying and distribution.

Organization Skills: Being organized in managing tasks, scheduling appointments, and maintaining filing systems to ensure efficient workflow and easy access to information.

Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills to greet visitors, clients, and staff with excellent customer service, providing general information, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues courteously and professionally, fostering a positive and welcoming environment.

Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and handle a diverse range of tasks effectively, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in managing workload fluctuations and addressing unexpected challenges, contributing to overall organizational efficiency and productivity.
