ABOUT THE JOB

 

The Project Manager at the Investment Service department will participate in the pre study and then lead the planning, execution and delivery of strategically important investment projects. The role will have the responsibility for managing multiple projects from conception to completion while ensuring that quality, budget and timeline of the projects are met. The position offers the possibility to work in an international setting in cross-functional teams and in close cooperation with the ordering organization.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Maintain and update the relevant Project Management systems (such as the Mobile Capital Project Management System and Thinking Portfolio)
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in support of strategic business development goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Manage project risks and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Monitor project progress and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and provide regular progress reports
  • Ensure project deliverables meet technical specifications and customer requirements
  • Oversee and coordinate contractors (Time, cost and deliverables planning and follow up)
  • Determine if performance guarantees by vendors for equipment/designs are met
  • Ensure compliance with engineering, regulatory, and company standards
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders including but not limited to department superintendents
  • Help motivate the project team to achieve project objectives
  • Provide mentoring to team members (if applicable)

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Competencies and Experience

 

Required:

  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in an industrial environment
  • Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite)
  • Strong commitment to safety and ability to participate in a safety-oriented work culture

 

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience managing projects for large industrial customers
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • MS Project
  • SAP
  • AutoCAD

 

 

Education

 

Required:        

  • BS degree in engineering, project management, or a closely related technical discipline
