Primary Job Function: The Night Warehouse Manager is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient loading of inventory through decreased breakage, increased productivity and meeting daily loading schedule.

 

General Duties:

  • Manages the work flow motivating all night team shipping employees. 
  • Oversees all aspects of loading trucks to ensure safe and proper loading procedures of accurate product meeting the departure schedule.
  • Creates, maintains, and communicates performance data and results through spreadsheet reporting;
  • Manpower and equipment planning of personnel;
  • Ensures that if injuries occur employees seek treatment and reports are filed promptly and accurately
  • Accurate accounting for inventory both on and off the trucks ensuring proper un keep of warehouse;
  • Strong working Knowledge of OSHA regulations and company SOP's
  • Responsible for enforcing and adhering to food security, food safety regulations and policies (HACCP, CGMPs)
  • Manages warehouse operations to maximize efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy of delivery of finished goods to customers
  • Executes special projects in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for setting expectations motivating, training employees to achieve higher productivity;
  • Must be Hands Ready to fill in when short personnel, spotting trucks;
  • Interview candidates, coaches and mentors effectively, and builds strong teams

 Qualifications:

  • 3 yrs of proven Produce warehouse environment supervisory experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in XL, Produce Pro, or Like systems
  • Committed to excellence by having others follow your actions;
  • Ability to set priorities, resolve issues, and accomplish team objectives
  • Ability to make sound decisions and react quickly to ever changing operational issues;
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the company;
  • A willingness and ability to work flexible hours to initiate and complete daily night shipping operations
  • Produce Environment Experience Preferred
  • Bilingual English / Spanish
