The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a terrific opportunity for an Education Records Administrator role at Evangeline Booth Training College in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time, on-site position with great benefits located at 1030 Metropolitan Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30313.

Job Summary
Coordinates and monitors the administrative, billing and record keeping functions associated with the student and programs for the Southern Territory – Officer Education Grants Programs, Candidate Student loan program, Officer- child Scholarship program, etc.; and Officers in the Continuing Education program and their current status regarding  CEU’s both obtained and those needed to comply with Salvation Army regulations; respond to inquiries regarding program guidelines and provides information and guidance according to current minutes and policies; develop & maintains a detailed record-keeping system for each program; prepares various program related correspondence and check request; prepare the Education Council monthly agenda and composes minutes of the meeting.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of accepted practices and techniques involved in report preparation, record-keeping, public relations, interpersonal relations, and business communications both oral and written, effective communication information that is confidential and complex in nature, general office practices and procedures, effective and efficient record-keeping practices and procedures, Ability to upload and process Items on the TSAMM platform, develop and prepare routine and complex Excel Spreadsheets with accuracy, working on multiple projects effectively and efficiently; Compiling and gathering information for reports, records etc..; work well under pressure of deadlines, Proficient in MS office products specifically Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook (Proficiency in Excel skills is required); and Ability to build and maintain effective and professional relationships with employees at Territorial Headquarters and throughout.

 

 

Education and Experience

Two years of coursework from a vocational or technical school in General business or a related field, And Two years of experience performing executive-level administrative work; OR any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

 

Licenses and Certifications

State of GA Driver's License

 

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Work is performed in a normal office environment where there is little or no physical discomfort associated with changes in weather or discomfort associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. A limited amount of physical effort is required for walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light-medium objects.
