Optometrist

Opportunity:  We’re seeking an experienced and state-licensed Optometrist who wants to focus on the future by helping us provide affordable, high-quality primary eye care to the community in New Braunfels, Texas. We’re looking for a Doctor of Optometry who is compassionate, and patient-centric with a strong base in treating ocular pathology. This optometrist will be focused on providing great comprehensive eye exams—in a timely fashion— with a personal touch while growing our patient base and retaining existing patients. Exam efficiency is an important aspect of this job and aligns with our purpose: Empowering everyone to see the world they love.

This opportunity is in San Antonio TX. About Us: Visionworks Doctors of Optometry enjoy the benefits of being a Doctor without the hassle of running a business. Visionworks will handle all insurance billing, credentialing, staff hiring & training, and administrative work. Our primary care practices believe in providing comprehensive eye care for patients, including routine exams, contact lens evaluations, and medical treatment for eye diseases. All offices include state-of-the-art equipment, including Henson 9000 VF, Optos Daytona, Topcon Autorefractor and NCT, Digital Acuity chart, and Crystal PM HER. OD techs will help work up patients and provide Contact Lens teaching.

What You'll Do:  As part of Visionworks “#Oneteam”, you'll practice full-time providing eye care to patients of all ages, and visual and medical conditions. You'll perform patient examinations, recommend vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings, handle eye emergencies, and collaborate with staff members to help deliver our commitment to improving access to healthcare.
