Duties and Responsibilities
- Operating heavy duty equipment in compliance with company policies and safety procedures
- Safely achieving productivity targets
- Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe cab
- Completing required documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work 12-hour shift rotations (days and nights)
- Demonstrate the skills and judgment necessary to safely and effectively operate equipment in a variety of terrain, positions, and various weather conditions
- Display a good understanding of the fundamentals of ground control and hazards associated with working on slopes, spoil material, near highwalls and during hours of darkness

This position currently follows a 28-day shift rotation working day and night shifts. The shift rotation is: 3 days, 2 off, 2 nights, 3 off, 2 days, 2 off, 3 nights, 2 off, 2 days, 3 off, 2 nights, 2 off.
The Estevan Mine is located approximately 12 km from the city of Estevan and 16 km from the town of Bienfait. The successful candidate will be responsible for his/her own accommodations and transportation.
