Systems Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, the Systems Analyst develops and supports agency-wide software applications, reports, and automated processes within clinic programs and administrative units.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience or BA/BS in computer science, information sciences, or related field plus 3 years of progressively responsible experience in SQL Server, T-SQL, database analysis and design in relational databases, proven analytical and problem solving skills are required. Experience using SSRS/Crystal Reports, JavaScript, .NET or equivalent, and general knowledge of healthcare related systems are preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are also required. Must be highly self-motivated and directed. Prior experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates with Systems Development Team in the development of software solutions.
Designs and develops application forms of moderate to high complexity using both the application designer tool and scripting.
Acts as technical lead on medium-scale IT related projects and works directly with business users to gather specifications.
Consistently completes tasks according to user specifications.
Provides end user support for all agency-wide applications.
Provides solutions and designs process changes resulting in improved and more efficient workflow and operations.
Provides system administration support and maintenance functions as necessary.
Develops and provides training on system software.
Continues to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served as well as uses appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture.
