3rd Shift Roll Stock Forklift Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that the product is moved from the truck to the staging area in a safe and efficient manner.

Maintain and perform daily safety inspections of the clamp truck and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Retrieve, stage, and lay down rolls of paper for multiple machines (i.e. Asitrades and Sheeter), always adhering sound inventory control practices (FIFO), ensuring butt rolls are pulled first. 

Operate the clamptruck in a safe and efficent manner, and follow safety practices. 

Perform lockout/tag out procedures on trailers.

Maintain good housekeeping and manufacturing practices at all times.

Pick and stage orders and load and unload trucks, while maintaining inventory integrity through proper handling and storage.

Minimize waste and keep inventory organized. 

Adheres to production schedule.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

High School Graduate or GED.

Must be able and willing to work overtime at short notice, both during the week and weekends.

Certified industrial driver or ability to get certified in a timely manner.

Ability to safely operate a propane powered forklift.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.

Prior experience working as a forklift/ clamp operator
