PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Accelerate business volume growth by supporting sales team in closing new business at new or existing accounts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Grow volume and margin by closing new accounts
- Identify new business accounts
- Prospect for new business by:
- Networking
- Attending industry functions and tradeshows
- Engaging suppliers and other lead follow ups
- Develop product training and resource support as needed by sales.
- Identify CPA's unique value and selling propositions and differentiators for sales reps to use as a tool in positioning activity & collaboration with suppliers.
- Create sales tools (i.e., must win/must advance)
- Organize Webinars
- Organize Trainings
- Conduct regular target reviews
- Develop pipeline and manage
- Manage the integrity of the pipeline and identify the resources needed by sales to commercialize the opportunity.
KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Complex thinking skills in translating customer needs into solutions.
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Professional presence, including excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Broad knowledge of solutions, materials and processing.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously on a day-to-day basis.
- Team player.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interact with all personality styles as well as various cultural backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Minimal training and oversight required.
- Strong computer skills, proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Dynamics (CRM) and Outlook.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, may increase on occasion.
